Chief Commercial Officer
Ahmed joined Sohar Stones in 2015 and serves as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Holding a degree in Finance and bringing over 30 years of experience in the quarrying industry across Oman and the GCC, he leads the company's commercial strategy, business development, contract management, and customer relationships. His extensive industry knowledge and strategic leadership play a key role in driving sustainable growth and strengthening Sohar Stones' position in the regional market.
Salim Al Miqbali
HR Manager
Salim joined Sohar Stones in 2019 after a distinguished 15-year military career. He leads the Human Resources function at the Sohar site, overseeing HR operations and supporting workforce development through disciplined leadership and a people-focused approach.
Patnam Praveen Kumar
Production & Maintenance Manager
Patnam Praveen Kumar joined Sohar Stones in 2026 as Production & Maintenance Manager, bringing over 20 years of international mining experience across India, the UAE, Qatar, Zimbabwe, Mali, and Saudi Arabia. He specializes in quarry operations, crushing plants, equipment maintenance, production planning, and operational excellence. His expertise in optimizing production, ensuring equipment reliability, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality plays a key role in supporting Sohar Stones' operational performance and project success.
MD Rashid
Laboratory & QA/QC Head
MD Rashid joined Sohar Stones in 2019 and leads the company's Quality Assurance and Quality Control operations. With over 12 years of experience across India and the GCC, he has extensive expertise in laboratory testing, quality control, material compliance, inspections, and process improvement. His commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards plays a key role in ensuring Sohar Stones consistently delivers reliable, high-quality materials for major infrastructure and railway projects.
